Halloween Happenings at Heights

Students and staff will be celebrating Halloween on Wednesday, October 31st with some special events.

Students are invited to be in costume for the duration of the school day and there will be a costume contest taking place at lunch.  Prizes will be awarded for the best costume at each grade level.  The Leadership 9 class has also organized a few other treats for the student body.

In the afternoon, the school will host a dance with a DJ from Revolution Music.  A photo booth will be available for students to use and the canteen will be open for purchasing pop, chips, and treats.  In addition to the dance, students will be able to participate in a games room, work on art in the art room, and participate in a fear factor challenge and listen to a live band led by the Youth Group RIZN from Celebration Church

As October 31st is an instructional day, students are expected to be in attendance for the entire day.  Students will report to their regularly scheduled period five class for attendance before being allowed to join in the activities of their choice.

Students are reminded that costumes should be appropriate for a school venue and be respectful of others.  Sensitivity to different cultures is expected.  We appreciate parents reinforcing this at home.
